Customer stories with: Kees Zorge - Omniboost

“When I heard about the possibilities at ecommit, I was keen to take advantage of them. Everything is well organised and I can always see the current status of our compensation.”

Kees Zorge feels a responsibility to reduce climate change. For his company Omniboost, he therefore offsets CO2 through ecommit.

You could say he is a man with a mission. After all, offsetting CO2 is not the only thing on Kees's sustainability calendar. On business trips, people already opt for bicycles, public transport or low-emission flights. At the office, spaces are shared to save energy and hardly any paper is to be found (in other words: hardly anything is printed anymore). And it doesn't stop there. In the future, lease cars will be electric and e-bikes will be available for staff to pedal to and from the office. Also, when renovating or fitting out new offices, environmentally friendly materials will be used. But getting your footprint to zero is not easy. That is also why Kees soon opted for carbon offsetting through ecommit. "When I heard about the possibilities at ecommit, I was keen to take advantage of them. Everything is well organised and I can always see the current status of our offsetting," Kees says.

"You only have to follow the news to know that the world is having a tough time and is only going to get tougher. With often serious consequences for groups of people who are already struggling. We are in a privileged position and, as far as I am concerned, we should do everything we can to reduce the speed of climate change."
