Sustainability has already been given an important role at Mia's. For example, products for the restaurant are sourced as close as possible. As much energy as possible is saved and as little packaging material as possible is used that is poorly recyclable. The waste stream is also being scrutinized for further refinement in the future. In short: they are already doing a good job of contributing to a better world! And then they also compensate some of their CO2 emissions through ecommit. "I would like to continue to make the company more sustainable, for the company itself, but especially for the environment. I also notice that this is important for our customers." That's what Mia also likes to respond to. Now she offsets the company's emissions, soon it will also be possible for customers to offset part of their meal with a small contribution. "Nice that something like this is possible through ecommit. This way we as a company can set a good example to consumers and inspire them to do something themselves," Mia said.

Privately, Mia also strives for a conscious lifestyle. Mainly in the area of nutrition. For example, by eating as much organic food as possible.
