Customer stories with: Ineke Dominicus - Nachtje in de Kerk

“That's what's so great about ecommit, they create opportunities to still compensate, in addition to what you can do to the maximum at the moment.”

This is Ineke. Together with her husband she runs a Bed & Breakfast in Vrouwenpolder. In a former and very attractive little church. It has the appropriate name: Night in the Church. A dream came true for the couple. A new dream being pursued is to make this business more sustainable. Part of that is offsetting through ecommit.

Separating waste, wasting as little as possible, driving electric and conserving energy and water. That is what Ineke is already contributing to a better world. Additional insulation and generating her own energy are plans for the future. ecommit helps her do a little extra in the meantime. "That's what's so great about ecommit, they create opportunities to still compensate, in addition to what you can do to the maximum at the moment," says Ineke. In what way does she compensate? By charging her guests an extra €0.50 per person, per night. Something that is a small effort for the many nature lovers who come to the B&B. After all, their contribution is well invested in beautiful carbon offset projects. And every little bit helps!
