Customer stories with: Bart Jansen - Laveto
“Normally those certificates are really something for big players, but through ecommit you can also buy a smaller piece, because they divide the certificates into small packages. That's a strong feature.”
This is Bart. Bart got involved in the development of ecommit early on. From his web, app and software design firm Laveto, he and co-owner Jeffrey think along in various disciplines. They also offset CO2 for their agency.
Being able to invest in CO2 certificates as a small business player is what Bart loves about ecommit. "Normally those certificates are really something for big players, but through ecommit you can also buy a smaller piece, because they divide the certificates into small packages. That's a strong feature. The same goes for the type of projects, as ecommit prefers to invest in local projects," Bart explains. He himself compensates in this way for Laveto. A nice addition to already working on solar energy and only buying from suppliers who are climate neutral. Why is this so important according to Bart? "For the environment, for a healthy society. We really need to be more conscious of the world. Companies play a big role in this. There's not so much on offer in terms of carbon offsetting, so this is a great option." And that's not the only thing Bart strives for when it comes to sustainability. He also likes to pursue sustainable partnerships. With his customers and with ecommit.
