Carbon credits drive growth!

Carbon credits drive growth!

B2B suppliers and buyers who leverage sustainability to create commercial value are seeing positive results. Research by Bain & Company involving more than 750 B2B companies in the automotive, packaging, chemical, machinery, metal, and construction sectors - all of which operate globally - shows that sustainability is high on the commercial agenda.

The research shows that companies are becoming more pragmatic. Instead of pursuing sustainability simply because they have to, they are focusing on how sustainability can set them apart from their competitors.

We also see this added value among entrepreneurs who opt for carbon credits. Some of them use the carbon credits directly within their businesses. By making carbon removal an integral part of their operations, they add value to their products or services. There are also companies that purchase carbon credits in advance and use them when needed. This may be because partners or suppliers request them or because they can be used in a bidding process. Carbon credits give companies a competitive edge because they can demonstrate that they are doing more than just reducing carbon emissions.
